An Application Model for Tech Integration in Early Childhood Education

Professor of Child Development & Education at Collin College Sharon Hirschy has released a report and related materials to assist early childhood educators in technology integration.  This resource titled “Effective Technology Integration in Early Childhood Education: Developing an Application Model” identifies stages and competencies as teachers move towards full integration of technology in the classroom and is intended to help educators understand and apply the principles of the NAEYC and the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media at Saint Vincent College joint position statement on technology and interactive media.  This resource includes proposed core knowledge, skills and attitudes along with helpful sources for effective technology integration.
