TEC Center’s Director Publishes Britannica for Parents Article

TEC Center’s director and Erikson Institute’s Associate Professor, Alexis Lauricella, PhD, wrote the Britannica for Parents article, “The Concept of ‘Screen Time Is No Longer Relevant”. In the article, Lauricella explains why the quality of screen device-based activities is more nuanced than using time as a measurement of quality. In light of school transitions to remote learning, social distancing, and stay at home orders, Lauricella provides 3 recommendations for adults making decisions about young children’s “screen time”.
